When I was younger I would always remember rushing home from school to watch Veronica Mars because well, who wouldn’t?

The original series ran for 3 seasons and then a film back in 2014 that was funded by the fans.

Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars) confirmed that she and series creator Rob Thomas are eyeing a limited-series format. Kinda like the Gilmore Girls revival in a way.

At the TCA’s the other week Rob Thomas revealed that the potential revival would consists of half a dozen hour-long episodes.

The only things that are stopping this from happening are the obstacles that are currently in the way. Kristen has a commitment to The Good Place and Thomas’ in-the-works Lost Boys remake for the CW.

“When actors are on network shows, most standard contracts will give them outs for, like, one episode a year of guest-starring. But then there are also sometimes outs if you’re doing something that is non-competitive. Would NBC consider a Veronica Mars thing on, like, Netflix non-competitive? We have not figured that out yet.” Thomas explains

“If I were a betting man, I bet that it will happen. I just don’t know when it will be.”
